How To Get Covid-19 Vaccine In Pakistan

Vaccines are a crucial tool in the war against coronavirus, and getting vaccinated is one of the best ways to safeguard yourself and others from destructive COVID-19. Due to the current alarming covid-19 situation in the country, it is highly advisable to get the vaccination as soon as possible.

Due to limited vaccination supply, the Government is firstly providing vaccination to elderly citizens. If you want your parents or your grandparents to be registered for the coronavirus vaccination program, you can get them vaccinated by following the simple steps below:

Step 1. Eligibility:

Firstly the citizen can check their eligibility by sending their CNIC number (13 digits only without dashes) to 1166 or by visiting this website https://nims.nadra.gov.pk

Step 2. Confirmation Message

If you are eligible for vaccination then you get a confirmation message Adult Vaccination Center (AVC) and PIN Code will be given to you. Once you receive this message, it means that you are officially registered for the vaccine based on your eligibility.

Step 3. Appointment Message

When the vaccine will arrive at the center you get the second SMS with the date of appointment and name of your vaccination center. You need to keep this message with you for your ease and to avoid any difficulty.

Step 4. Visit Adult Vaccination Centre

You have to visit AVC on the date of appointment along with the Original CNIC and PIN Code. The staff of the vaccination center will confirm the schedule and your CNIC and PIN code at the verification counter. After the verification of your data, you will have to wait for your turn to get vaccinated.

When you get vaccinated you’re asked to stay at the center for 30 minutes for monitoring

Important Note:

If a vaccine is 2-dose, the message will only be sent once 2nd dose is arranged as per availability of inventory 48/24 hours within the due date.
