Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan is present as a special observer for the ongoing parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan.
Sikandar Sultan serves as Special Observer for Parliamentary Elections in Uzbekistan. During his observation of the electoral process today, he held an important meeting with the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan, Mr. Zainuddin Nizamkhojaev Makhmatovich. The meeting included detailed discussions about exchanging electoral experiences between the two countries. Both leaders agreed to further promote mutual cooperation.
Mr. Sikandar Sultan Raja visited various polling stations in Tashkent city. He directly observed the electoral process. He praised the arrangements made for voters’ convenience and commended the polling staff’s performance. During his visit, Mr. Sikandar Sultan Raja also made a special visit to Uzbekistan’s renowned educational institution, Tashkent University of Journalism and Mass Communications.
On this occasion, he was given a detailed briefing about modern educational facilities and media labs. Yesterday, the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan participated in an important briefing organized by the Uzbekistan Election Commission, which was attended by Election Commission Chairpersons from various countries around the world.
The briefing provided detailed information about Uzbekistan’s electoral system, legal framework, and arrangements made for conducting elections.
