Indian Hindus Desecrate Saudi Flag in Hatred Against Muslims. The situation arose amid rising hatred against Muslims in India. India continues to implement laws against properties of Muslims belonging to them for past hundreds of years such as the Waqf Bill. However, it has significant population in the Middle Eastern countries and tries to build good rapport with these countries.
Thus, it is the first ever incident where the Saudi flag was insulted in their hatred against Muslims. Interestingly, there are at least 2.5 millions Indian working in Saudi Arabia, as per the Ministry of External Affairs. Moreover, Saudi Arabia provides one of the highest number of remittances to India. This incident speaks of the mentality of local Hindus who can go to any length in their hatred against the Muslims.
Although, the Hindus in India are a majority. Yet, there is a significant population of Muslims living in India. And the Indian Hindus continue to humiliate local Muslims. Interestingly, they also continue to engage unfairly with Pakistan, especially on the Kashmir issue. Yet, India has remained unable to bully Pakistan.
Pahalgam Attack
The recent Pahalgam attacks are one such instance where 26 Indians were targeted in the disputed region of Kashmir. The Kashmiris have been fighting against illegal occupation of India since 1947. Interestingly, the Kashmiris and Mujahideen had taken over parts of Kashmir when India went into the United Nations in 1948. It was agreed that a plebiscite will decide the future of Kashmir. However, India never fulfilled its promise. Instead, it resorted to forcefully settle the territory in 2019 in its Union without any referendum or vote in the regional legislature. Kashmiris have been fighting for their right to self determination since then.
Pehalgam attack seems to be one of the same. Some reports claim that the targeted individuals were serving military or intelligence officers. The reports also claim that the militants did not target women and children; rather they focused on the government officers. Interestingly, the attack took place almost 400 kilometers inside the occupied territory of Kashmir. India claims that it has over 700,000 military personnel in this region to keep the occupation of this land. Yet, India blamed Pakistan for this attack and began an operation in the settled territory in Pakistan. It resulted in killing of children.
The Pakistani response was unexpected for India. Pakistani response resulted in shooting down of Indian fighter jets including the French Rafale. Moreover, Pakistan showed extensive restraint by not killing the civilians in India. It resorted to targeting the military infrastructure and bowed down India.
Hatred Against Muslims
Although, the founders of India had promised a secular country and several Muslims fell prey to their call. Yet, they continue to target Muslims through imposition of Hindutva. Hindutva refers to an ideology that India belongs to Hindus. It believes that everyone should convert to their religion and worship the idols.
As this mindset continues within India, it was never reflected in dealing with the countries in the Middle East. Yet, when several groups of Indians were trampling the Saudi flag under their feet, it shows their mentality of hatred against Muslims. One of the most painful aspect includes the Quranic verses written on the Saudi flag. Thus, we do not put the pictures out of respect for the verses.
