Pakistan’s success in vaccination with decreasing numbers of cases shows good outcomes and is most likely to be strengthened by the manufacture of the Pakistan vaccine.
The COVID-19 vaccine certificates are now available in person online. But the question is how to get a vaccination certificate in Pakistan?
We have developed a short guide to the procedure to receive a certificate of vaccination and what to do if anything fails.
How to get a vaccination certificate in Pakistan?
You must consult the NIMS website and provide the computerised National ID card data to request the online vaccination certificate of Covid-19.
The certificate cost Rs100 can be paid by debit or credit card.
On the website, you may also get a certificate if you are vaccinated once.
Furthermore, to receive your certificate of vaccination, you may go to a National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
What is the vaccine certificate of the NADRA?
The COVID vaccination certificate is evidence that a vaccine permitted in the country has been given at one or both doses.
The NADRA has stated that it will issue certifications for both single and double-dose coronavirus vaccinations.
The NIMS also offers a tutorial on how to get the certificate for vaccine:
Step # 1. Visit the webpage https://nims.nadra.gov.pk/NIMS
Step # 2. To input necessary information, click on the “Corona Vaccine Certificate”
Step # 3. Once all the required information has been filled out, continue to payment
Step # 4. Pay the Amount by clicking “Confirm And Pay” as mentioned below.
Step # 5. Print receipt for payment and press continue
Step # 6. Review the data entered.
Step # 7. Download the vaccine certificate

If you need to re-print your vaccination certificate and submit your data on the NIMS website. It will lead you to the re-print option rather than Step 2 where you are requested to provide extra information.
How can I change the vaccination certificate details?
By accessing the website and reinserting your data, you may modify some information on your immunisation certificate, for example, name, where an alphabetic error is present, passport number or citizenship. It then directs you to the webpage where the “modify data on a certificate” button may be clicked and resubmit your information accurately.
The other steps are the same: input your card information, pay a charge of PKR 100 and download your certificate.
Many cases have occurred in which additional vaccine certificate data have not been submitted correctly, like the vaccine name given or the day of vaccination.
The revision can be made by sending an application or by posting a dispute on the NIMS website or at the location of the vaccination. You may also contact the helpline — 1166 as an option.
Advantages of NADRA Vaccine Certificate
The certificates would allow citizens safe travel across Pakistan to various places and the possibility to avoid severe isolation. Providing incomplete certificates of vaccination will also allow people from Pakistan to move out of the country.
In addition, vaccination certificates will become a necessity for local travel starting on 1 August. The NCOC has recommended that individuals receive vaccines to avoid disadvantages by 31 July.
Vaccine certificates for citizens who want to rent a hotel or attend weddings and dine at the National command and operation centre have also been made obligatory. There are also discussions about the demand for the OPD service or medical procedures of a vaccination certificate.
